About Pamela
I always loved art at school and won a prize in a national competition aged 13. While my children were growing up, art took a back seat until a local group was formed and I joined it, hoping to produce some delicate, atmospheric watercolours. I soon discovered that this was not at all to my taste and that I preferred a bolder approach. I now work in oil, acrylic and collage and am inspired by the surrounding landscape focusing on pattern and colour in an abstract or semi-abstract style.
